My new Sony nwz-a816 Walkman mp3 video player (4 gb model) just arrived.
After charging and testing it a couple of hours, I ran into a problem, The mp3 player just would’nt play the videofiles I tested. I got the “Wrong format” error message on my Walkman.
After a couple of minutes googling after forums describing similar problems, I noticed that the videofile had to be in a certain size (width*height in pixels) and a certain bitrate and frame rate. Also the mp3 player only plays .mp4 videofiles with the mpeg-4 codec.
So, I went looking for a propriate program to do the job, converting the files. I tried 3 other programs before I tested SUPER.
This program did an excellent job, and was just what i needed. It’s also totally free to use.
If I was to work for some it company, it would have to be Google.
Theese videos says it all.

Free foods, drinks, health care, excercise etcetera. Looks more like a playground than a hard working seriouse company, but the employees love it, who wouldn’t.
They say the relaxed working environment helps on their creativity.
I just updated the blog, both code and design, a little bit. At the same time, some of the database became corrupt, so I have to change some tags in almost every article/post.
That kind of sucked…
I still have some more updates planned, but will fix that later.
Newer WordPress version
Updated some plugins
Fixed some small “bugs” in the design
Changed a tag
Changed the look, size and color of some fonts in the design
Cleaned up the database
Updated the color scheme for code fields, to make it easier to read
Some site statistics for so far in January: 78762 hits, 7829 page views, 3124 unique visitors and 739 219 kbytes transfered in total.
That’s not bad at all, It’s the best month for this blog so far, and its still going stronger
Anyways…
Im still working on a new version of the File Renamer, It will be released as beta/full very soon, with loads of new features.
I appreciate feedback on posts, and Im looking for someone who can contribute with some content (type: any ^^). Feel free to contact me.
I am about to start a small project to redesign fix this blog.
I also have another project going to finish my File Renamer program.
The new design will (hopefully) be better looking and have a bit bigger potensial for implementing new stuff/plugins etc.
Edit ( january 30th ): Design and some other minor improvements is done. See this post for more information.
I’m also considering making a small guide for how to design your own WordPress theme.
6 days ago, my summer vacation was over, and I started my education at an university college.
I have to admit, theese six days have been some of the hardest first-days-at-school in my life…
And im not talking about the studies… every year new students begin their
journey at college, many parties and night-outs follow up closeley.
Some students started drinking 1 hour after school… for six days straight.
The blog is going great, Ive had about 54 000 hits and 13 000 page loads so far since the release, which is about 37 days ago now (july 13th). So far this month, I’ve had about 1700 unique visits.
If you would like to contribute with articles/writings/whatever, feel very free to contact me, you could send me an email at this adress.
Anyhow, im planning on writing some tutorials or something in near future, so u may want to step by from time to time, or just grab a rss fed ;)
Also, if u like to keep your Opera ”up to date” with the very latest builds, you should check out this site where they publish weekly builds with new features and sefety improvement.
Note that to complete this tutorial you need to be able to log onto your router to change settings, if you can not do this you can not complete the last part. I’m warning you at this point so you don’t read and work trough half of it only to be pissed off!
I see this alot, people whining about torrents being slow. Taking into consideration how torrents work compared to Direct downloads, in most cases I’d say you are wrong.
Direct download connects to a single computer, sure you can use download accelerators to connect more then once and get more juice, but most servers have anti messures for this.
A torrent download on the other hand, connects to (given there are seeders/leechers) a number of computers, downloading from all those at once. As a result, one can say that given two factors a torrent will allways be faster
You have configured your client and such correctly
The torrent is active (meaning there are people uploading the data)
Now I’m not saying that it would be faster on your computer, just faster, and by this I mean that (I’d like to point out that all of this is from my own experience, I’m now wiz on the subject) most servers these days have a speed capped at somewhere around 200 +/-50 KB/s or so. This means that if you have a line with 150KB/s down, and the server capps you at 200, you will get full speed. However if your line is 500KB/s down, and the server caps at 200, you get 200.If you however were to download from a good torrent I’d bet quite sure that you could achieve 500KB/s down there. This article shows you how you can display a box with “characters left” in your forms, you may for example use it in guestbooks or comment forms to tell the user how many characters he/she are allowed to input.
Since this is done by javascript, all we need is a .html file, with the script, and the form.
This is how the javascript looks like:
It changes the textbox “lengde”s value to 60 minus the length of the typed text in the big textarea called “txt”. It updates every time you release a key on the keyboard.
The html form looks like this:
<formmethod="post"name="form"> Write your text here:
